Which RC Car Does Roman Atwood Use?
Roman Atwood is a Youtube influencer with more than 20 million subscribers. He is well known for making vlogs about his life, his wife and his kids. He is well known for being an RC car lover, with a lot of his videos including stunts or pranks including RC cars.
There are many of his fans that have wondered which specific RC car he uses, so I decided to do some research to see which models does he have and which ones does he prefer.
And from what I have checked, Roman Atwood uses several different RC truck models from Traxxas. These include his main model the Traxxas X-Maxx, the Traxxas Slash 4X4, the Traxxas E-Revo, the Traxxas Stampede 4X4, and the Traxxas XO-1.
So as you can see, Roman seems to love Traxxas RC trucks (Not sure if he has an endorsement deal with them). But they aren’t the only brand that he uses though. He has been seen using HPI cars before, such as the HPI Savage X 4.6.
Roman has 2 sons and 1 daughter, and they seem to use RC cars too. His son Noah seems to use a Losi RC buggy that he damaged after seemingly overheating the motor.
The RC cars listed aren’t the only ones that Roman uses though. He actually has a ridiculous amount of models just lying around at his home, but he doesn’t use them as often as his X-Maxx though. That’s why I assume that has gets endorsements from different RC car manufacturers, or at least Traxxas.
Pros And Cons Of The Traxxas X-Maxx, Roman’s Favorite RC Truck.
The X-Maxx is Roman’s favorite RC truck and no wonder why. This huge truck is a 1/5 scale model and It is well suited for offroading.
This is a very technologically advanced model. The first thing that I can talk about is the truck’s ability to righten itself up after rolling on its side or back. You simply press a button on the controller and the truck will automatically stand on its wheels. This is perfect if you are going to be using the RC car from afar.
Another great feature this baby has is the Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) System. This is an electronic stability control system that will notice if the car is losing traction to regulate the wheels spin rate, and throttle response, ensuring a more stable ride, and a more capable truck on all conditions.
Aside from technology, this truck is very fast for its size, achieving speeds over 50 MPH on a straight line, making this a very versatile choice and a great pick if you can only buy 1 RC car.
This is not the cheapest truck available. But you get what you pay for though.
Pros And Cons Of The Traxxas Slash, Roman’s Most Used RC Truck
Even though the X-Maxx might be Roman’s favorite RC truck, the slash is actually his most used model. This is because the Slash is more maneuverable than the X-MAXX.
The Slash is one of Traxxas entry-level models. They are perfect for newbies because of their ease of use, plus they have a lot of aftermarket support, making this a very popular model for modders.
One of the main pros of the Slash is its versatility. This is a short-course truck which tends to be faster than what the numbers suggest. This is a good choice for backyard bashing, offroading, and even a little bit of on-road action.
Another big pro of this car is the fact that it’s so common. It’s very easy to find spare parts for this, and that’s one of the reasons why this is a good choice for beginners who are just getting into RC cars.
